The do’s and don’ts of external skin care:

DO’s:

  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Wash your face twice a day, morning and evening with a soft herbal cleanser and like warm milk or water.
  • Avoid over exposure to sun, cold, saltwater, snow, wind.
  • Daily do facial exercises once.
  • Moisturize and nourish your skin with the proper essential oil.
  • To get rid of dead cells and rejuvenate skins do any professional chemical peel once every 6 to 12 months.

Don’t’s:

  • Do not use harsh soaps and detergents on the face.
  • Do not use heavy night creams.
  • They block pores and cause puffiness.
  • Do not use harsh scrubs, chemical powders or pumice stones.
  • Do not use tissues to remove make-up because wood pulp in paper is not good for skin.
  • Do not use chemical make-up removers, heavy eye creams and oils. Instead use cotton dipped in plain vegetable oil to remove eye make-up.
  • Do not apply any product or chemical astringents containing alcohol.
  • Do not use very cold or very hot water to wash. It breaks capillaries.
  • Don’t apply face make-up before sleep.
